Meet Ms. Sarah Beth!


 

Ms.Sarah Beth began her early dance training at the Floyd Ward School of Dance in Roanoke, VA, where they studied various styles, including ballet, modern, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and clogging. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and continues to pursue their passion for performing and creating. During her starting years as a dancer and performer, she has competed numerous regional and national dance competitions in middle and high school.

Initially, during college, Sarah Beth had the opportunity to perform at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, Hylton Performing Arts Center, the Center for the Arts, and Harris Theater. They performed works choreographed by renowned artists such as Donald Byrd, Susan Shields, Linda Miller, and Victor Adebusola, as well as pieces created by their peers. In 2017, she made her choreography, You Know You're Doing Owhich k, and was selected to perform at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage.

Following college, she also performed at the Transformations Dance Festival, presenting a piece choreographed by Mikayla McKee, and danced with Ash and Elm Dance Company in 2024. They also became a company member of Kaleid Dance Company, participating in their premier performance in 2024. Ms.Sarah Beth is preparing for Kaleid Dance Company's second season as a dedicated company member! With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and continues to pursue their passion for performing and creating.


Fun fact: Don’t be afraid to look silly and don’t be afraid to make mistakes! Progress only happens when we open ourselves up to failure. The trick is to not let temporary failure defeat you.
