Full-Time School Administrator
The Dance Academy of Virginia is hiring a full-time experienced school administrator to lead our customer service, daily studio operations, and sales. Join our team of high energy, skilled and passionate dance pros, connect with our community and support our dance education mission by implementing highly efficient and customer-centered processes.
DAV offers programming for students ages 2 through adult in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, lyrical, and hip hop. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, administrative experience, sales experience, a high level of organization, strong motivation, ability to work independently, flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment, ability to problem solve with a customer-focused mindset, strong verbal and written communication, and dance studio experience. Candidates must be available to work weekday afternoon/evenings and one weekend day.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to office administration, customer service, studio operations, sales, marketing, and project coordination for competitions, productions, camps, and birthdays. This position offers the opportunity to gain sales, marketing, customer service, and operational management skills through a community building approach. The employee is expected to be willing to optimize software and database systems, have excellent communication and writing skills and be reliable to report to work on time and perform duties using best professional effort and skills in a competent and ethical manner.

Part-Time Dance Teachers
The Dance Academy of Virginia is hiring an experienced part-time ballet teacher for classes with young children through older and a part-time jazz and contemporary teacher.
Teaching experience is required, with a good technical background as a professionally trained dancer. Teacher must enjoy and work well with young children as well as teaching and choreographing a variety of ages levels. Teachers who are experienced in other dance styles as well will be considered for additional teaching opportunities. Teacher training and curriculum provided.
Tuesday & Sunday availability needed immediately with the opportunity for more classes other days.
