Meet Ms. Nicole!

Program & Faculty Director

Nicole Greene-Cramer is a dance educator, researcher, and former professional ballet dancer whose work bridges classical training with principles of dance science. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Science with Distinction from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet from SUNY Purchase. Her graduate research focused on the biomechanical relationships between lower limb function and balance in ballet.


Nicole has extensive experience teaching students from young beginners to professionals. She teaches classical ballet technique, pointe, pre-pointe, variations, and conditioning, as well as adult ballet and dance education for children in academic settings. She has taught at institutions including the Ballet Austin Academy (TX), the Dance Academy of Virginia and as a Master Teacher and Rehearsal Director at Burklyn Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive in Vermont.


Nicole’s professional performance career includes dancing with Ballet Austin, Ballet Austin II, and Ventana Ballet, where she performed works by George Balanchine, Thang Dao, Jennifer Hart, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Stephen Mills, Nelly van Bommel, Septime Webre, and other contemporary and classical choreographers. Nicole is an active member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS), and the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). Combining scientific inquiry, pedagogical expertise, and artistic integrity, Nicole is committed to fostering the next generation of healthy, resilient, and well-rounded dancers.


When she isn’t working, Nicole can be found listening to Taylor Swift, cooking or baking, and enjoying time with her husband, their baby boy, and their sweet chocolate lab.
