Meet Ms.Emma!
Ms. Emma has been dancing for 21 years, starting with ballet, tap, and jazz at age ten and transitioning to pre-professional ballet and modern dance training at age 10. As a teenager, she began teaching tap and ballet at her home studio, sharing her passion for dance with younger students.
Some of Ms. Emma’s favorite roles include Clara, Flowers, and Candy Canes in The Nutcracker; Spring in The Sleeping Beauty; Swan Corps in Swan Lake; Cupid in Don Quixote; and choreographing and performing a ballet inspired by The Firebird.
She holds degrees in History and Law from Vassar College and Georgetown University and currently works full-time in the legal field. When not working, Ms. Emma loves teaching at DAV and continues to inspire the next generation of dancers.
