Bella Courard-Durso is originally from Arlington, VA, where she currently resides. She studied Dance with a concentration in Ballet at Point Park University. Bella has performed in Septime Webre's The Nutcracker at the Warner Theatre, as well as in excerpts from La Bayadere, Coppelia, and The Nutcracker at Burklyn Ballet. She has also danced in contemporary works during her time at Point Park. Bella brings her experience to the classroom with a teaching background at DAV, and this year, she will be teaching at the McLean location. In her class, dancers can expect to focus on strengthening their ballet technique. Her advice for the year ahead: “Don’t be afraid to try and get it wrong the first time!”
