Join Us for the 1st DAV Block Party in McLean!

Summer may be winding down, but the fun is just getting started! Dance Academy of Virginia is excited to welcome families from McLean, Del Ray, and across Northern Virginia to our inaugural DAV Block Party on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Whether you're a current DAV family, exploring dance classes for the first time, or simply looking for a fun community event, everyone is invited to celebrate with us at our McLean campus.

What Is the DAV Block Party?

The DAV Block Party is a free, family-friendly community event designed to bring together local families, businesses, and organizations for a morning filled with music, dance, food, shopping, and fun.

Hosted at Dance Academy of Virginia, 6723 Whittier Avenue in McLean, the event is expected to welcome more than 200 guests and will help kick off an exciting new dance season. We're also hoping this becomes a beloved annual tradition for our community.

What You Can Expect

There will be something for every member of the family to enjoy, including:

• A special DAV Flash Mob at 11:00 a.m.

• Live dance performances and demonstrations

• Local businesses and artisan vendors
