Meet Ms. Stephanie!

Little Dancer Program Instructor

Stephanie Driscoll hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is currently based in Arlington, VA. She pursued her education at Elon University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Political Science, alongside a minor in dance. Stephanie furthered her studies at SOAS University of London, obtaining a Master’s degree in International Politics. In her professional life, she merges her passions for foreign affairs and the arts.

Stephanie's teaching journey began as a teenager in her hometown, and after completing her undergraduate degree, she taught with the University College London Dance Society while pursuing her graduate studies. In 2017, upon relocating to Washington, DC, she joined Adagio Ballet and has been an enthusiastic member of the D.C. Arts community since its inception. Throughout her dance career, she has performed as a soloist and in the corps in various productions, including The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Paquita, and Cinderella, and she served as captain of the Elon University Dance Team during her senior year.

This year, Stephanie will be teaching in Del Ray, specifically in the Little Dancer Program, where she encourages her students to approach each class with a positive attitude. One piece of advice she often shares with her dancers is to dance with confidence and, of course, always point those toes!
