Rachel Bozalis is originally from Dallas, Texas, and is currently based in Falls Church, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Arts Management from George Mason University. During her early professional career, Rachel has performed in works by a wide range of acclaimed choreographers, including Peter Chu, Aszure Barton, Omar Román de Jesús, Loni Landon, Robert Battle, Shannon Gillen, Jennifer Archibald, Gregory Dolbashian, Alysia Johnson, Madison Hicks, Rob Klienendorst, Christina Robson, Lawrence Jackson, and Michelle Gibson. She is deeply grateful for her training experiences with Flockworks, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Henny Jurriëns, Chuthis., Moving Forward Dallas, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and the American Dance Festival. Rachel is currently in her third season with Gin Dance Company, where she has performed works by Shu Chen Cuff and Christian Denice.

This year, Rachel will be teaching at both locations. She brings a grounded, joyful approach to the studio and encourages dancers to stay committed while enjoying the process. Her advice for the year ahead is simple and empowering: take your work seriously, but never take yourself too seriously—have fun.
