All Programs Instructor

Megan Amen is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently located in Falls Church, Virginia. She studied Dance at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Megan has a diverse teaching history, having been an instructor at the Master Ballet Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona, for their Summer Intensive in 2019. She also served as a guest instructor at Greenway High School in both 2016 and 2019, and worked part-time at Kaye Lynn Dance Studio in New Jersey in 2016. Her performance history includes participation in Dance Plus at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, performing a senior solo at the same institution, and being part of "The Nutcracker" with the Master Ballet Academy.

This year, she will be teaching in McLean, focusing on programs such as Little Dancer, Youth, and Academy. In her classes, dancers can expect to work on their foundational technique through specific exercises that emphasize proper alignment, fostering long-term growth. Megan advises her students to maintain a positive attitude and to embrace new challenges, emphasizing that making mistakes is an essential part of growth—not only as dancers but as individuals.
