Meet Ms. Kelly!
Little Dancer & Youth Programs Instructor
Kelly Padalino is originally from Potomac, MD, where she currently resides. She attended Duke University, where she studied Dance and Public Policy. Kelly has been passionately teaching since her high school years, beginning at her studio, CityDance Conservatory. Throughout her college experience, she continued to teach and choreograph as the President and Artistic Director of Momentum Dance Company. In terms of performance, she has a rich history, having performed professional repertory through various summer intensives, including works from Koresh Dance Company, Dance Theater of Harlem, and Cie Hervé Koubi. Her performances have graced notable venues like the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival, Strathmore Hall, and even Cameron Indoor Stadium, which is a thrill for basketball fans. This year, she will be present at both locations where she teaches the Little Dancer and Youth programs. In her classes, dancers can expect to grow in their technique while having fun. As advice for the upcoming year, Kelly encourages everyone to be open-minded and to form connections with their peers.
