Meet Ms. Coral!
All Programs Instructor
Coral Dennison, originally from Maryland, is currently based in Manassas, where they dance with the Manassas Ballet Theatre. She began her training at Berrend Dance Center and continued with the American Repertory Ballet and Point Park University, focusing on ballet while also exploring contemporary and modern dance. They have taught at Stavna Ballet School, Premiere Dance Studio, and Tu Left Feet, as well as summer programs with Berrend Dance Center.
Their performance experience is extensive—growing up, she danced in Olney Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker and performed in several operas as a dancer. As a trainee with American Repertory Ballet, they appeared in productions such as The Nutcracker and Coppélia. During her time at Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, Coral performed lead roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Justin Peck’s Increases, Sleeping Beauty, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Shibuya Blues. After graduating, they joined Stavna Ballet, performing iconic roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Cinderella in Cinderella, and the Red Bird in Snow White. Coral now dances with Manassas Ballet Theatre for their 2025–26 season.
This year, she will be teaching at both locations, leading Youth, Little Dancer, and Academy programs. In their classes, dancers can expect to be challenged both mentally and physically while growing as artists—and having fun along the way. Her advice for the year ahead? Find joy in the little accomplishments—it makes a huge difference to celebrate every win!
