Production Coordinator

Blaire Lindsley is originally from Virginia Beach and is currently based in Falls Church, VA. They earned their degree from James Madison University, where they majored in Dance and minored in Educational Media. Blaire began their teaching career at Virginia Beach Ballet Academy, where they taught and choreographed from 2018 to 2020, working with dancers of various ages and styles. From 2020 to 2024, they further developed their choreographic voice at James Madison University, creating original works for concerts and program showcases.

Their dance training began at Denise Wall's Dance Energy and continued at the Virginia Beach Ballet Academy. As a performer, they are currently dancing with Gin Dance Company in Falls Church, with recent performances featuring choreography by Christian Denice and Shu-Chen Cuff. While at JMU, Blaire was a member of the Virginia Repertory Dance Company and performed in works by Lucinda Childs, Norbert De La Cruz III, Katherine Helen Fisher, Rubén Graciani, Tiffanie Carson, Monique Haley, and Floyd McLean Jr.

This year, Blaire will be teaching at both locations, where dancers can expect to be challenged in a supportive environment that nurtures both technical and artistic growth. Their advice for the year is: “Stay open to learning, be patient with yourself, and enjoy every step of the journey!”
