Meet Ms.Grace!

Grace Walker's dance journey began in middle school, where she competed in regional and national competitions with her home studio each year until graduating high school. From 2015 to 2018, Grace choreographed and performed as the principal dancer in productions like Fame, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Katrina Project. During college, she performed and competed in contemporary and jazz styles with Danceworks at George Mason University.

In 2023, Grace expanded her artistry by performing as an improvisational modern soloist in a series of local music videos. In November of the same year, she performed a modern duet titled [Inter]Face at the Transformations Dance Festival in Fairfax.

Grace graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Forensic Science. She has worked with the Naval Research Lab, conducting research on explosive particle transfer and at a private agricultural testing laboratory, performing genetic testing.

Fun Fact: Grace's advice for dancers is to keep their big-picture goals in mind throughout the year but focus on the small details in each class that will help them achieve those goals. "Come to class to work toward your specific goals!"
