Anja Kripowicz is an artist from Northern Virginia and earned her BFA in dance with a concentration in modern as well as a business minor from Point Park University. Throughout her collegiate experience, she has performed works in various genres choreographed by renowned choreographers including Christopher Huggins, Leewei Chao, Maud Arnold, and Marc Spaulding. Before college, she had the opportunity to assist at Artists Simply Human (ASH) Dance Convention with Desmond Richardson, Dwight Rhoden, Mia Michaels, Lisette Bustamante, and Braham Logan Crane. Anja’s choreography has been presented at the National High School Dance Festival and has been teaching and choreographing since the age of sixteen. Throughout her career she has trained under Garfield Lemonius, Jason McDole, Roger C. Jeffrey, Kiesha Lalama, and Jesse Factor, and has become proficient in styles including modern, contemporary, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, and tap.

Fun Fact: One piece of advice I have for DAV students this year is to be excited about learning/trying new things and making new friends!
